Methacrylate Regulatory and Scientific Group

The science program supporting regulatory developments related to methacrylate chemistry has historically been coordinated by the Cefic Methacrylates Sector Group (Cefic MSG). However, due to recent business reorganisations, this structure is no longer sustainable. The Methacrylates Regulatory and Science Group (MRSG) has been established to ensure continuity of these activities*.

MRSG has been established to advance robust scientific understanding and to promote comprehensive risk assessments related to methacrylate chemistry. These efforts support the development of appropriate regulatory frameworks and risk management measures, ensuring the safe and responsible manufacture and use of methacrylate products.
